After much research into many kitchen companies offering a bespoke service, we went with a personal recommendation of Knights Country Kitchens and were not disappointed. Our new kitchen was part of a larger project involving an extension and reconfiguration of the family living space. Gemma and Hayley were always so calm, professional and patient with what turned out to be a lengthy and stressful project. We were particularly impressed with the practicality of the design to fit a multifunctional space and the finished layout flows perfectly. Using their knowledge and experience to guide us, all of our ideas and requirements were somehow incorporated and fitted to an exceptionally high standard despite the challenges of uneven flooring, walls and beams that an old house brings.

Our clients envisioned a timeless shaker-style kitchen with a painted finish that would harmonise beautifully within their farmhouse setting. The result is a stunning, character-rich space brought to life through a thoughtful palette of three complementary colours.
The main kitchen cabinetry is painted in Driftwood, while the rear peninsula—nestled beneath exposed beams—is finished in Charlston Grey by Farrow & Ball. These tones are elegantly paired with 30mm Taj Mahal natural Quartzite worktops, adding warmth and sophistication to the overall design.
To enhance the palette and add a touch of glamour, we installed an antique silver mirror behind the range cooker, creating a striking focal point.
Our clients selected premium appliances to match the kitchen’s elevated style, including a Fisher & Paykel French-style fridge freezer, a Quooker Pro 3 Flex & Cube in stainless steel, and a showstopping Lacanche range cooker.
The bar area was designed to feel fully integrated with the rest of the kitchen. Painted in Shale, it features matching Quartzite worktops, a mirrored back with glass shelving, and glass-fronted cabinets to showcase elegant glassware. Finishing touches include bar handles on bi-fold doors and bespoke polished nickel handles, adding a refined edge.
Completing the space, the TV cabinet echoes the Charlston Grey finish and Taj Mahal Quartzite, with illuminated display shelves that bring warmth and visual interest.
