We worked closely with our client and their builder D. Mason to complete this new build project in Suffolk from architect plans.
The clients main requirements for their new kitchen was an island and a table to seat their family of four. This was a design challenge to adequately fit both in the kitchen area, while still keeping good, clear walk ways around the kitchen.
We came up with a design idea that incorporated an oak seating area at table height adjoined to the island.
The island was painted in Farrow & Ball Plummett with Azul Platino polished granite and 40mm solid oak seating area
Our clients loved the beauty of natural oak worktops which they used to surround the butlers sink and dresser area.
We also used accents of oak in the corner pantry and below the butlers sink to compliment and contrast against the Farrow & Ball Slipper Satin.
The Kitchen Cupboards
The client chose to make a feature of their range cooker with an impressive painted inglenook in Farrow & Ball Slipper Satin. We then cladded it with 6mm toughened glass splash back, again painted in Farrow & Ball Plummett to compliment the island colour.
The polished chrome cup handles and knobs are the icing on the cake for this beautiful bespoke kitchen.
The oak plank effect porcelain was laid throughout the ground floor and supplied by Knights. Take a look at our flooring range.
From our very first meeting with Hayley, it was clear to us that she would be as passionate about our new kitchen as we were.
In no time at all, Hayley got to know us and was therefore able to design a kitchen that was not only to our own personal taste, but that also ‘worked’, and was right for the house we were building.
During our house build, we needed to make hundreds of decisions and the kitchen, as usual, was probably the biggest decision of all. It was a massive relief to us to know that we were in safe hands, and could trust Knights to look after things for us.
The attention to detail is probably the highest I have ever seen, from design to installation, the whole team were fantastic. Also, their aftercare is as good. We had one or two small issues (ours, not theirs) and Knights fixed things in no time at all, and with absolutely no fuss.
Knights have ‘done us proud’, and we are delighted . Everyone who has seen our new kitchen has loved it.
We will strongly recommend Knights to anyone planning to buy a new kitchen.
Thank you Hayley, Gemma, Mike, and everyone at Knights for creating and fitting our dream kitchen.
